Notice of Prohibited Conduct & Legal Actions

This notice is intended to protect ZEHO’s brand identity, intellectual property, business operations, and the rights and safety of the people associated with the Brand. It applies to conduct occurring both online and offline and across relevant platforms and channels of communication.

ZEHO LLC (“ZEHO” or “the Brand”) prohibits conduct that unlawfully interferes with its identity, intellectual property, operations, or the rights and safety of its representatives, employees, collaborators, and other associated individuals.

Where prohibited conduct is identified, ZEHO may, depending on the nature and severity of the conduct, consult legal counsel, report the matter to relevant platforms or authorities, and take other appropriate action.

In cases involving serious or repeated conduct, ZEHO may, to the extent permitted by applicable law, pursue civil or criminal procedures without prior warning.


1. Prohibited Conduct

1) Impersonation & Misrepresentation

    • Impersonating ZEHO or any of its representatives, employees, collaborators, or other associated individuals

    • Using similar names, logos, images, or other materials in a manner that unlawfully creates confusion regarding an association with ZEHO

    • Falsely representing that ZEHO has approved, endorsed, partnered with, or otherwise has a relationship with a person, business, product, or service

2) Unauthorized Use of Intellectual Property

    • Reproducing, modifying, distributing, publishing, or transmitting ZEHO’s product images, designs, text, logos, website content, or other protected materials without authorization, except where permitted by law

    • Using ZEHO’s content for fraudulent, misleading, unauthorized commercial, or other unlawful purposes

    • Providing or enabling third-party use of ZEHO’s intellectual property in a manner that infringes ZEHO’s rights

3) False Information & Unlawful Harm to Reputation

    • Intentionally publishing or distributing false or materially misleading information

    • Unlawfully infringing the reputation, credit, or other rights of ZEHO or individuals associated with the Brand

    • Malicious dissemination of false information, coordinated harassment, or similar unlawful conduct

*This provision does not prohibit lawful criticism, opinions, reviews, factual inquiries, or other legitimate expression.

4) Improper or Repeated Contact

    • Repeatedly or persistently contacting ZEHO’s representatives, employees, collaborators, or other associated individuals without a legitimate purpose

    • Continuing contact after a clear request to stop

    • Using anonymous, secondary, multiple, or third-party accounts to continue unwanted contact

    • Engaging in threatening, intimidating, harassing, or otherwise unlawful communication that interferes with work or personal safety

*Normal customer inquiries, legitimate business communications, lawful press inquiries, and other reasonable communications are not prohibited.

5) Business Disruption & Unauthorized System Interference

    • Unlawfully interfering with ZEHO’s business operations, website, services, or customer support

    • Unauthorized access, excessive automated traffic, or other activity intended to disrupt or overload ZEHO’s systems

    • Fraudulent orders, false reports, or other conduct undertaken for the purpose of disrupting operations

    • Other conduct that unlawfully obstructs ZEHO’s business

6) Misuse of Personal Information & Privacy Violations

    • Obtaining, publishing, or distributing non-public personal information relating to ZEHO’s representatives, employees, collaborators, or other associated individuals through unlawful means

    • Using personal information to threaten, harass, intimidate, or otherwise unlawfully interfere with another person’s rights

    • Other conduct that violates applicable privacy or personal information laws


2. Records & Evidence Preservation

ZEHO may record and preserve relevant information to the extent reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, protection of rights, or legal proceedings.

Such information may include:

    • Emails, messages, posts, comments, and other communications

    • Access logs, IP addresses, device or browser information collected through ZEHO’s website or services

    • Screenshots and other materials lawfully obtained or preserved by ZEHO

    • Information lawfully provided by platforms or other third parties

Where appropriate, such information may be provided to legal counsel, courts, law enforcement agencies, platform operators, or other competent authorities.


3. Applicable Laws

Depending on the conduct involved, relevant laws may include:

    • The Penal Code of Japan, including provisions relating to threats, coercion, defamation, insult, damage to credit, and obstruction of business

    • Copyright Act

    • Trademark Act

    • Unfair Competition Prevention Act

    • Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable privacy laws

    • Other laws, regulations, or ordinances applicable to the specific conduct

Conduct occurring outside Japan may also be subject to the laws of the relevant jurisdiction and the terms and policies of applicable platforms.


4. Enforcement Measures

Depending on the circumstances, ZEHO may take measures permitted under applicable law, including:

Civil Measures

    • Claims for damages

    • Injunctions, provisional remedies, or other appropriate legal proceedings

    • Requests for removal of infringing content

    • Intellectual property infringement reports or notices submitted to relevant platforms

Criminal or Regulatory Measures

    • Consultation or reports to law enforcement or other competent authorities

    • Criminal complaints, reports, or other procedures where conduct may constitute an offense

    • Other measures available under applicable law

Technical & Platform Measures

    • Restricting access to websites or services controlled by ZEHO

    • Preserving access logs or other information reasonably necessary for security or legal purposes

    • Reporting content, accounts, or activity to social media platforms or other service providers


5. Enforcement Policy

ZEHO may take strict action where necessary against impersonation, intellectual property infringement, malicious dissemination of false information, improper repeated contact, business disruption, privacy violations, and other unlawful infringements of rights.

Taking into account the nature, severity, repetition, and impact of the conduct, ZEHO may take appropriate action without prior warning.
